Shooting leaves 19-year-old man dead in Long Beach
A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in Long Beach on Sunday evening.
It happened at around 7:45 p.m. in the 6200 block of Long Beach Boulevard, according to the Long Beach Police Department. Officers arrived and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died, police said.
The victim has since been identified as Dante Williams.
Detectives did not have information on a suspect or motive in the shooting.
