Shooting Death Investigation Underway In Lancaster

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives continued their investigation Saturday into the shooting death of a female juvenile.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent around 9:32 p.m. Friday to the 1300 block of East Avenue I.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her identity is being withheld pending family notification.
