Shooting At Bus Stop Claims Life Of Young Father

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police are on the hunt for at least one gunman after a deadly shooting took the life of a young father at a bus stop in Inglewood late Tuesday.

The shooting occurred at the bus stop at West Beach Avenue and Venice Way.

The victim, a 23-year-old male, was waiting at the bus stop with a friend when a car reportedly pulled up and opened fire.

The victim later died at the hospital.

As candles are appear at the scene, the victim's friend describes him as a "good guy", who had just recently had a baby.

Investigators say there has been a string of recent shootings in the area, and have yet to determine if they are related to Tuesday's shooting.

Police, meanwhile, say they have no suspects and are still investigating possible motives.
