Sheriff's Recover Missing Stun Bag Shotgun

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —   LA County Sheriff's detectives say they have recovered a missing stun bag shotgun that was reported "lost/stolen"eight days ago.

Compton station detectives recovered the missing shotgun Sunday.

Officials said the shotgun was loaded with four less-than-lethal bean bag ammunition shells when it went missing. The weapon can operate as a regular shotgun if loaded with live shotgun shell ammo, authorities said.

Detectives have arrested a male Latino in connection to this incident. The man's name was not announced.

The investigation is on-going.
