Several Yorba Linda Homes Evacuated After 'Destructive Devices' Are Found

YORBA LINDA (CBSLA.com) — Several homes were evacuated Friday night after the Orange County Sheriff's Department located several "destructive devices" at a residence in the 4500 block of Via Del Valle, authorities said.

According to the Sheriff's Department, a search warrant was served at the residence about 6 p.m. Friday, and deputies found three pipe bombs and two additional devices that were not specifically described. The bomb squad responded, and was rendering the final device inoperable at about 11:45 p.m.

It was not immediately known if anyone was arrested.
