Male Victim Killed, 2 Hurt In LA Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A male victim was killed and two others injured in a shooting Monday night at 47th Street and Vermont Avenue.

LAPD was called at 7 p.m. and were told to bring extra units for crowd control, according to department spokeswoman Janet Kim.

The male victim was pronounced dead at a hospital. Kim said he had gang ties.

A man, also a known gang member, and woman injured suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
