Service Dog Reported Missing In Montebello

MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Sunday with locating a female Australian Terrier that was reported missing in Montebello.

According to the Montebello Police Department, the dog was last seen on the corner of North Greenwood Avenue and Harding Avenue during the evening of March 1.

Officers said the dog has been with her family since birth, and is registered as a service animal.

The dog was last seen wearing a pink collar with identification tags attached by a pink heart shaped clip.

Local shelters have been notified, as the dog is micro chipped, police explained.
