Serena Williams Chases Down Phone Thief At Restaurant

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Do not mess with Serena Williams, or she will hunt you down. Literally.

The tennis sensation posted this to her facebook page, detailing how a man attempted to steal her phone while she was eating a Chinese restaurant.

Williams cited her "superhero sense" as partly responsible for the heroism.

She also issued a statement meant to inspire women everywhere, saying, "Just because you are a lady, don't be afraid to step up to any challenge and not be a victim but a hero!".

According to her Facebook post, Williams was enjoying a meal with fellow tennis star Caroline Wozniaki before she apprehended the would-be phone thief.
