Sedan Collides With LAX Shuttle Bus

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Only minor injuries were reported when a car struck a Los Angeles International Airport shuttle bus early Monday morning.

The crash between a private vehicle, a 4-door sedan, and an LAX shuttle bus happened on the 96th Street Bridge at Vicksburg at about 3:40 a.m., an airport official said.

There were 13 passengers on the bus at the time of the crash who reported only minor injuries. The driver of the private vehicle was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Officials closed 96th Street and Vicksburg to clear the crash scene, but the roadway was expected to be reopened before 6 a.m.
