Second Alleged Victim Of Teacher Confronted In Video Calls For Change In School Policy

SOUTH PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — A second woman accusing a former Alhambra school administrator of molesting her as a child called for change in state law to help better protect children against abuse.

Brianna, the second alleged victim, and her attorney held a press conference at 11 a.m. Thursday in South Pasadena.

The 18-year-old asked school districts to improve their policies and do everything they can to help protect students, citing the sex abuse scandal that last for years at Miramonte Elementary School and LA Unified School District, KNX1070's Margaret Carrero reports.

She also released claims she filed against both the Riverside Unified School District and the Val Verde Unified School District as a result of the allegations.

The woman came forward after a YouTube video surfaced Sunday of the first alleged victim, "Jamie", secretly recording herself accusing the then-assistant principle of Alhambra High School of sexual abuse.

Jamie, 28, said the suspect was her former basketball coach at Chenawa Middle School in Riverside. She claims the relationship began in 1999, when she was in the 8th grade, and continued intermittently throughout high school before it ended after graduation.

The second alleged victim said she recognized the teacher's voice in the video, which quickly went viral, as the woman who allegedly sexually abused her in 2010.
