8-Year-Old Boy Who Went Missing In Adelanto Is Found Safe

ADELANTO (CBSLA.com)— Authorities in San Bernardino County have located an 8-year-old boy who had been reported missing since Tuesday night.

Concerned relatives of Albert Frank, Jr. were informed shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday that the child had been found and was believed to be OK.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the child had been located in Victorville. The circumstances surrounding the discovery, however, are still unknown.

Albert was seen last about 6 p.m. Tuesday, KCAL9's Tom Wait reports.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff's officials, he left his residence in the 18000 block of Jonathan Street in Adelanto to go play with a friend, but hadn't returned home.
