Missing Boy, 15, With Autism Found Safe Near Monrovia Canyon Park

MONROVIA (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities on Saturday searched for a missing boy with autism in Monrovia Canyon Park.

The 15-year-old boy was hiking with a group of kids with special needs when he got separated.

The boy was found about two miles from where he originally lost contact with his group. The teen was found in an area called White Saddle.

The teen is reportedly fine and has been reunited with his family.

Officials said it took more than four hours to report the boy missing because it took his group a while to come back down from the mountain.
