Search For Burglary Suspects Near Westfield Culver City Ends

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have detained subjects for questioning following a search for possible burglary suspects at Westfield Culver City.

The incident at the shopping center, also known as Fox Hills Mall, unfolded about 1:50 p.m. after two undercover LAPD officers spotted the suspects entering the mall.

The search prompted police to establish a perimeter around the mall -- located at 6000 Sepulveda Boulevard -- and to search vehicles.

Authorities did confirm to CBSLA that the suspect vehicle was found at the mall. During the ordeal, the mall was not placed on lockdown.
