Police: Attempted Homicide Suspect Barricaded In Panorama City Apartment

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A possible murder suspect was taken into custody early Tuesday after a standoff and police pursuit.

The car chase in Panorama City had ended in a crash near Chase Street and Willis Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. The suspect in the pursuit then ran into an apartment complex and refused to surrender.

The standoff ended at 1:30 a.m., when the suspect was taken into custody.
