Santa Monica Police Release Sketch Of Man Suspected In Kidnapping Attempt

SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday released a sketch of a man wanted in an attempted kidnapping.

A woman reported that the man assaulted her July 9 as she walked in the parking garage of her complex in the 2200 block of Colorado Avenue, police said.

She was able to fight off the man and run to safety.

The man is believed to be in his late 30s to early 40s, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt, a black hat and sunglasses.
