Santa Clarita Valley Firefighters Rescue Horse After It Falls Into Trench On Movie Set

AGUA DULCE (CBSLA.com)  — Firefighters in the Santa Clarita Valley rescued a horse Saturday after it fell into a large trench in Agua Dulce.

The incident reportedly occurred on a movie set in the 32500 block of Agua Dulce Canyon.  Authorities did not give the name of the production.

The trench is about 10 feet deep.

The call came in just before 11:20 a.m.

The horse was tied to straps and airlifted out and finally declared safe around 1:10 p.m.

The extent of the horse's injuries were not clear.
