Caught On Video: Man Robs Hardware Store In Santa Ana

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Friday to locate a man who robbed a hardware store in Orange County.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the robbery took place around 9 a.m. on June 10 in the 1500 block of East Warner and McFadden.

Surveillance video captured the man stealing items from the business.

At one point, an altercation ensued between the suspect and store employees.

Detectives described the suspect as a Caucasian man who is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 30 years old and stands around 5-foot-8 tall.

He has dark hair and was last seen wearing horn-rimmed glasses, a grey jacket, black pants and a blue Quick Silver hat.

Police said the suspect fled from the area in a 2015 or 2016 black Mazda6 with paper plates from Patterson Huntington Beach.
