Ryu, Uribe Return To Dodgers Lineup In San Diego

SAN DIEGO (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers looked to get a boost from two roster moves made prior to Sunday afternoon's series finale against the San Diego Padres.

Pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu and third baseman Juan Uribe were both activated from the 15-day disabled list, and are in the starting lineup.

Ryu last pitched on Aug. 13 before going on the DL for a right hip strain. Uribe, meanwhile, missed 12 games with a right hamstring strain.

As a result of the additions to the roster, the Dodgers sent infielder Miguel Rojas and pitcher Carlos Frias to Triple-A Albuquerque. Rojas has appeared in 66 games for the Dodgers this year while hitting .194 while Frias made his major league debut earlier this month, and has a 5.65 ERA through eight games, striking out 10 while walking just two.

The Dodgers lead the NL West by 2½ games over the San Francisco Giants, but have lost their last two games in San Diego in extra innings.
