The break occurred around 1:40 p.m. at Los Alisos and Muirlands boulevards, according to Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock.

Both streets were closed following the break, but nearby Los Alisos Intermediate School was unaffected, Hallock said.

Orange County Fire Authority and Southern California Gas Company crews were also on hand, according to officials.
