Rolling Stones To Play 'Secret' LA Show - But You're Probably Not Going

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Some Rolling Stones fans were set for a special treat Wednesday night as the famed rock band was expected to play a surprise set at a small Hollywood venue in preparation for an upcoming North American tour.

Only about 1,200 fast-typing fans secured tickets for the show, in which the bank was is expected to play every song from its "Sticky Fingers" album, which is being re-released in a deluxe edition including bonus tracks.

The Stones announced the show via their official Twitter account and the band's website, which said only that a "Los Angeles Club Show" would be held in the 90028 ZIP code.

Social media chatter indicated that the performance would be held at the Fonda Theater at 6126 Hollywood Boulevard.

Tickets - which reportedly cost $5 - went on sale online at noon and sold out with minutes.

But if you miss tonight's show, don't stop yet: the Stones will play San Diego and 14 other U.S. cities as part of their ZIP CODE tour.
