Malibu Canyon Road reopens after being temporarily closed by rockslide

Rockslide causes yet another closure on Malibu Canyon Road

A rockslide forced the temporary closure of a roadway near the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu over the weekend.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Malibu Canyon Road was closed in both directions from Piuma Road to the PCH until it reopened on Monday at 3 p.m.

Images from the location showed large rocks and debris on the roadway.
