Robber Opens Fire At Gas Station In Exposition Park

EXPOSITION PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday searched for a robbery suspect who opened fire at a gas station in Exposition Park.

Shortly after 2 a.m., a male suspect entered an Arco Gas Station, located at Vermont Avenue and Exposition Boulevard, and fired one round into the ceiling, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers said the suspect then ordered the clerk to give him all the money from the registers.

Detectives said the suspect fled from the area with more than $500 in cash.

He was last seen wearing a red bandana over his face.

No injuries were reported.
