Road closure outside LAX terminal causes traffic delays

Los Angeles police and firefighters closed a road outside an LAX Terminal to help a man get off a transition bridge Thursday night.

The incident began at roughly 5:45 p.m. when the man threatened to jump off the bridge. The Los Angeles Fire Department prepared a rescue cushion in case he jumped.

Luckily, the Los Angeles World Airport Police Department took the suspect into custody. Paramedics evaluated him shortly after.
