CHP officers arrest speeding motorcyclist following Inland Empire pursuit

California Highway Patrol officers arrested a motorcyclist following a high-speed chase through Los Angeles and the Inland Empire on Thursday night.

The chase began on the eastbound 10 Freeway in L.A. before the motorcyclist fled south into Riverside County at speeds reaching 120 mph, officers said. Eventually, the suspect continued into Ontario in San Bernardino County, where he brought the motorcycle to a stop outside a home in the area of Lombardy Street and Norton Avenue.

After getting off the bike, the suspect laid the bike on the floor and attempted to walk away. CHP officers rushed into the area moments later and took him into custody.

The suspect has not been identified and police did not provide any further details.
