Report: Hanley Ramirez Headed To Boston Red Sox

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hanley Ramirez is heading to Boston to play with the Red Sox, according to a tweet by Ken Rosenthal.

Ramirez is said to be heading to Boston on Monday, where he is expected to finalize a deal with the team.

The deal, according to Rosenthal, is reported to be for five years, and $90 million.

Ramirez batted .283/.369/.448 for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2014, hitting 13 home runs and knocking in 71 RBI.

He spent three years in Los Angeles after a year in Miami.

His 2013 season, in which he batted .345/.402/.638, with 20 home runs, earned his name into consideration for the year's National League MVP award.
