102-Year-Old Woman Votes For 1st Time In Lincoln Heights

LINCOLN HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Guadalupe Portillo, who is 102, cast her ballot Tuesday for the first time after becoming a naturalized citizen.

Portillo, who lives in Lincoln Heights, voted at the Montecito Heights Recreation Center on Griffin Avenue.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles was on-hand to serenade Portillo and others with mariachi music.
