'Real Housewives' Star Pleads Not Guilty To Resisting Arrest

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Kim Richards has pleaded not guilty to three misdemeanor charges filed after authorities say she was kicked out of a posh restaurant for being drunk.

An attorney entered the plea on Richards' behalf during a hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Richards was charged in May with resisting arrest, battery on a peace officer and public intoxication after she was removed from The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel the previous month.

The 50-year-old reality star is accused of kicking an officer while at a police station.

District attorney's spokesman Ricardo Santiago says Richards was ordered to stay away from the hotel at Thursday's hearing.

She faces up to two years and six months in jail if convicted as charged.
