Rattlesnake Bite Reported At Bonelli Park In San Dimas

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Tuesday said one person was transported via ground unit to the hospital with what appeared to be a snake bite.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department says a call came in about 1:25 p.m. of a report of a bite at Camper View and Via Verde roads in Bonelli Park in San Dimas.

When firefighters arrived about 1:32 p.m., they transported an unknown individual to the hospital. The person's current condition was unknown.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Park Bureau confirmed that they received a call of a rattlesnake bite but was unable to elaborate on who the victim was or whether they had been transported.

According to officials, the scene was cleared about 3:15 p.m.
