Rapper Arrested During Raid At Justin Bieber's Home Faces Felony Drug Charges
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The rapper who was arrested at Justin Bieber's Calabasas home earlier this month was charged Friday with drug-related felonies.
Xavier Dominic Smith, 20, also known as "Lil Za" was arrested Jan. 14 while Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies searched Bieber's home in a high-end gated community in Calabasas. The raid was related to a vandalism incident at Bieber's neighbor's home on Jan. 9.
Smith was charged with possession of a controlled substance: Oxycodone; possession of a controlled substance: MDMA or ecstasy; and damage to a jail or prison in excess of $950, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
The last charge was related to a damaged phone at the Lost Hills Station.
Smith is scheduled to appear in court next on Feb. 4.
