Empty Kayak Found Floating Near Rancho Palos Verdes

RANCHO PALOS VERDES (CBSLA.com) — Search and rescue crews came across an empty kayak Friday floating in the water near Rancho Palos Verdes.

According to Los Angeles County firefighters, crews located the kayak around 7 a.m. Friday near Point Vincente, which prompted a full blown investigation.

The search was called off after an hour due to the fact that no one was found in the water, and there were no reports filed for a missing person.
