Rams Waive CB Troy Hill 3 Days After Arrest

THOUSAND OAKS (AP) — The Los Angeles Rams have waived cornerback Troy Hill, three days after his arrest following a freeway crash.

The Rams announced the move Tuesday.

Hill is fourth on the Rams' roster with 38 tackles after starting four games as a surprisingly important contributor to Los Angeles' solid defense. The Rams claimed the local Ventura County product off waivers from New England late last year.

But Hill was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after he rear-ended a truck in his Mercedes. Hill's next court date is Dec. 14.

The Rams also waived cornerback Dwayne Gratz and placed linebacker Josh Forrest on injured reserve. They promoted cornerback Michael Jordan and linebacker Nic Grigsby to the active roster.
