Rain Rolls Into Thousand Oaks As LA-Area Braces For Another Storm

THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Southern California residents were bracing for another storm Monday night, with sheriff's deputies warning drivers to be careful on the road.

Rain rolled into Thousand Oaks, where showers continued to come down on and off late into the evening.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department said rain caused a number of traffic accidents.

So far, there have not been mud and debris slides like the ones that followed last week's storms in burn areas such as Camarillo Springs.

The rain is expected to worsen through the evening and continue on and off through Tuesday night, with another system expected Wednesday.
