Rain Possibly To Blame After Vehicle Crashes Into Studio City Tree; 2 Injured

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Rain-slick roads may be to blame for a single-vehicle traffic collision in Studio City that left two people injured.

The crash unfolded just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the 11100 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Firefighters say the vehicle crashed into a tree, trapping the driver.

The driver was extricated from the car, and transported to the hospital in critical condition.

A passenger was also taken to the hospital in serious condition.
