Protester Hit By Car Outside Fundraiser For OC District Attorney
COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — A protestor was struck by a car outside a fundraiser for Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckus in Costa Mesa Tuesday night.
The protester was apparently blocking a car leaving the fundraiser and was subsequently hit by a car, police said.
About a dozen people showed up to protest what they believe is corruption in the DA's office.

The driver left the scene, but police say they are not treating the incident as a hit-and-run. The man eventually called police and is cooperating with authorities.
The protest apparently involved members of a local chapter of the ACLU.
