Man, Woman Arrested Following High-Speed Pursuit In LA

SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — A man and a woman were arrested Tuesday after leading officers on a high-speed pursuit through Los Angeles County.

The chase began around 3:30 a.m. on the northbound 14 Freeway after the male driver ran several red lights, according to California Highway Patrol officers.

About an hour and a half, the vehicle stopped on the southbound 405 freeway at Valley Vista Boulevard.

The driver exited the vehicle and surrendered to police.

Several minutes later, SKY2 captured a female passenger also surrendering to authorities on the freeway.

No injuries were reported.
