Police Arrest Pursuit Suspect In Inglewood

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police arrested a pursuit suspect traveling through Inglewood Tuesday morning.

The chase unfolded around 5:45 a.m. along the 105 Freeway, according to police.

The suspect, who traveled in a 2016 Chrysler, exited the freeway at Vermont Avenue, and continued onto surface streets in Willowbrook and Inglewood.

During the chase, the suspect drove through red lights, stop signs and even struck another vehicle.

Early morning fog did not appear to hamper driving conditions.

The driver was wanted for traveling on the shoulder of the freeway.

The chase ended just before 6 a.m., when officers successfully stopped the suspect on Century Boulevard during a PIT maneuver.
