Pursuit Suspect Arrested During Standoff With Police In Beverly Grove

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A pursuit suspect was arrested Friday following a standoff with police in the Beverly Grove area.

Around 3 a.m., sheriff's deputies were in pursuit of a suspect traveling in a stolen vehicle.

At one point, the suspect crashed the vehicle near Alden and Swall and fled on foot.

A standoff subsequently occurred. The man was later arrested without incident.

CBS2's Jasmine Viel reported at least one car was damaged during the incident as the suspect sideswiped the vehicle, knowing its mirror off.

The incident remains under investigation.
