Punk Rocker, Pro Skateboarder Duane Peters Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) —Professional skateboarder and punk rocker Duane Peters was facing possible felony domestic violence charges after being arrested in Long Beach Saturday.

Dubbed "The Master of Disaster," Peters, 52, was arrested in the 4000 block of Third Street, said Long Beach police Sgt. Megan Zabel.

He was being held at the Long Beach jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to sheriff's online booking records.

Peters was lead singer of the band U.S. Bombs, formed in 1993, and is credited as a pioneer of innovative skateboard tricks. In 2000, he formed a new band, Duane Peters and the Hunns, later changed to Die Hunns.

No details of what led to Peters' arrest were made available. He is due in court in Long Beach on Tuesday, Zabel said.
