Public's Help Sought In Search For Missing Santa Monica Teen

SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking for the public's help locating a 17-year-old girl diagnosed with Asperger syndrome who went missing Tuesday.

Laila Kaddoura was last seen around 1 p.m. at her residence in Santa Monica, according to a SMPD spokesperson.

Kaddoura, who is believed to be a run-away, also suffers from anxiety and depression, police said.

She was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, dark gray jeans, gray or green tennis shoes and carrying a black backpack.

The teenager is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown, shoulder-length hair.
