Public's Help Sought In Finding Suspects In Rancho Dominguez Double Murder

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Wednesday asked for the public's help in identifying two male suspects seen in the area of a double homicide in May.

Omar Williams, 18, and 20-year-old Jason Pina were fatally shot on May 5 in their vehicle in the 17600 block of Santa Fe Avenue in the Rancho Dominguez area, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Investigators said two black men were seen fleeing the shooting in a larger, dark-colored SUV.

At the the time of their deaths, Williams was a junior college student who had just passed a test to be a LA County janitor and Pina was in training with Southern California Edison. Pina also had a 3-year-old son.
