Public's Help Needed In Finding 15-Year-Old Girl From South LA

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Relatives are asking for help locating 15-year-old Ashley Aleriano, who was last seen Wednesday leaving her home in South LA.

Aleriano left her home around 7:45 a.m. in the 400 block of East 48th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"Her family is extremely concerned for her welfare because she made suicidal remarks," police said.

The missing teen was described as Hispanic, 5 feet 1 inch tall and around 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who's seen her was asked to call officers Padilla or Salazar at (323) 846-6576 or the LAPD tip line at (877) LAPD-247.
