PSY Releases New Music Video Years After Mega-Hit 'Gangnam Style'

(CBSLA.com) — PSY has released a new music video years after the Korean singer went viral with his global hit "Gangnam Style."

The video "Daddy" was posted to YouTube on Monday and has already been viewed 747,858 times.

PSY became an Internet sensation several years ago after the release of "Gangnam Style."

His rise to fame even snagged him a spot performing at the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre LA LIVE) in 2012 with MC Hammer.

"Gangnam Style," which has been viewed more than 2.4 billion times, is the most viewed YouTube clip ever, according to CBS News.

In 2012, more than a dozen El Monte lifeguards found themselves in hot water after creating a remake of "Gangnam Style" while in uniform.

PSY, according to published reports, is expected to release another album.
