Powerball Jackpot Swells To $360 M

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  No ticket (yes, including the one you got) matched all six numbers in Wednesday's Powerball draw.

The jackpot, which was $317 million, will climb to at least $360 million for Saturday.

The numbers selected Wednesday evening were 24, 36, 51, 52, 56 and the Powerball number was 22.

The drawing was the 19th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

There was a $2 million winner in Pennsylvania (for matching 5 numbers on a power play ticket without the power ball) and six $1 million winners in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Powerball starts at $40 million and climbs every time there is no winner. The record jackpot reached $590 million in May 2013.
