Boy Who Went Missing In Pomona Found Safe

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Police have safely found an 11-year-old boy who went missing in Pomona Thursday evening.

Pomona police on Friday reported that Adam Hernandez ran away from his foster home and contacted his biological father. His father to Hernandez into custody and notified the Los Angeles County Department of of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

On Friday morning, Hernandez's father transported him to a DCFS office in Glendora. Hernandez is now awaiting placement in a foster home.

Hernandez had last been seen riding his scooter around 6 p.m. Thursday near his foster home in the 3700 block of West Valley Boulevard.
