Police: Woman Thought To Be Kidnapped Found Safe

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A woman who witnesses saw being dragged out of a business and forced into a sport-utility vehicle has been found safe, police said.

Police asked for the public's help Monday to identify the woman, who was believed to have been kidnapped from a doughnut shop in the 5600 block of York Boulevard early Dec. 20, officials said.

Detectives from the LAPD's Northeast Division circulated surveillance images of the woman Monday in an effort to identify her and check on her safety.

At 2:10 p.m., police said the woman had been found safe.
