SKY9 was overhead as the alleged getaway car was pulled over around 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keswick Street and Kester Avenue in Van Nuys.

The children inside were all under the age of eight, according to the LAPD.

Undercover LAPD officers say they had been conducting surveillance at a marijuana dispensary a few blocks away when they say two men break in with crowbars.

The men allegedly stole an iPad and smoking paraphernalia and drove off in a Dodge.

Moments later, officers pulled over the vehicle and placed two men inside under arrest.

The children's mother told investigators she was unaware they had allegedly burglarized the dispensary; She thought the men had gone in to buy post.

Officers allowed the mother and children to go but have notified Child Protective Services.
