Police Seize Nearly 15 Tons Of Marijuana From Illegal Perris Grow-Ops
PERRIS (CBSLA) — Riverside County police seized almost 15 tons of marijuana from multiple raids of illegal grow operations in Perris on Thursday.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, they served 48 search warrants that led to the discovery of 14.9 tons of marijuana, 37 guns, and 27 arrests.
Dogs were also found and in the care of the Riverside County Department of Animal Services.

Earlier Thursday the department had announced they served 32 search warrants that led to the discovery of 5.9 tons of marijuana, a honey oil lab, 21 guns, and ten arrests.

Officials said there was no threat to public safety.
