Police Seek Woman Accused Of Spending $8,000 On Fraudulent Credit Cards In Palmdale

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Wednesday with identifying a woman accused of applying for fraudulent credit cards and making purchases in Palmdale.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Station, the woman allegedly applied for the credits cards by using names of victims living in areas between Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Deputies explained she has charged about $8,000 worth of designer handbags and shoes, perfumes, colognes, leather coats, PlayStation and Xbox video game systems to Dillards, Target and Wal-Mart in Palmdale.

According to detectives, the suspect is described as a white or Hispanic woman in her late 20s or early 30s, with brown hair and a thin build.

Security video from one of the stores shows her driving away in a silver or grey Chrysler 300, which has black rims with a silver center cap.
