Police Seek Suspect After Shooting In Van Nuys

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Police were seeking a suspect in a dark-green sedan following a shooting late Saturday morning in the 6600 block of Woodman Avenue.

The shooting was reported at 10:47 a.m., according to Los Angeles police officer Liliana Preciado. A man was shot in the stomach and a leg, and police believe the incident could be gang-related.

Witnesses reported hearing about six shots from the car, which was described as import, possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
