Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver After Vehicle Barrels Into Granada Hills Home

GRANADA HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Officers searched for a hit-and-run suspect Tuesday who drove a vehicle into a home located in Granada Hills.

Shortly before 2 a.m., police were sent to the 11300 block of Balboa Boulevard just east of the 118 Freeway for report of a vehicle into a house, according to California Highway Patrol officers.

Upon their arrival, authorities located a vehicle resting on its side inside of the residence.

Paramedics transported one victim for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.

A preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle flew off the eastbound freeway off-ramp at Balboa Boulevard, and subsequently took out two rooms of the house.

According to police, the driver fled on foot from the scene prior to their arrival.

The investigation is ongoing.
